This Remembrance Day the Union of Veteran’s Affairs employees (UVAE) joins Canadians from coast to coast to coast to honour the brave men and women who have fought and died for our freedoms. Even though we may not be able to gather together in large numbers we are united in the spirit of remembrance. We recognize and celebrate all of Canada’s Veterans from the earliest days to the latest missions around the world. UVAE members are proud to serve Veterans, peacekeepers, reservists, military, RCMP and the Merchant Navy and their survivors. November 11 reminds us to remember those who serve, have served and those who are fallen. We will remember them. We hope that all Canadians will participate in activities of commemoration and respect on this solemn day.
